Thanks, Brother David – Holding things lightly, with “a kind of detachment,” opens me to appreciation, and generosity, and praise and hope. “This world is not our home,” the old hymn says, and when I learned we were made for eternal life, and that we are souls living in mortal bodies, I could only give thanks. Wonderful love.
I believe that whereever we are we chould strive to mke it beautiful. It does not matter if this is not our final resting place. It is where we are now and where we are called to be. We should strive to make it as beautiful as kssible.
