Signs of Life: Saturday

Life is lived right now, in this moment. That’s an important reminder for all of us, because we tend to think, “If just this would happen, then I would be happy.” When we put a condition on our lives, we miss out on the present moment because we’re waiting for something else to happen.

There is peace within me today because of YOU Lord.
I am exactly where I am meant to be according to Your will.
I put my life and my health into Your hands.
I want to be happy and content with myself just the way I am.

    We are all connected…..
This knowledge is settling into my brain, my cells and my soul –
I have the freedom to sing, dance, praise, pray and love.
I believe that there is no coincidence in this life, it is fate guided by YOU.
Thank YOU, THANK YOU Lord. Amen.

Today I help with the food pantry. Some of our group bring a light meal for those who come to the pantry. Many come on a regular basis and we have become friends. This is my Praise. This brings me joy.

“Dwelling in the present moment, I know it is a wonderful moment!” Thich Nat Han
This is the day, the hour, the moment that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
God’s blessing be with us all.

A good prompt to me to look for the good and have gratitude for my life as it is now, rather than looking forward to “when I have recovered from concussion….”
